Jalapeno Raspberry Sauce

Jalapeno Raspberry Sauce is great on many different things.  I like it on roasted chicken and pork tenderloin but my favourite place to drizzle it is on a Shrimp Wonton.  It is a super easy recipe that adds a big punch of flavour to whatever you use it on.  The sauce itself is gluten free and dairy free so it is a great way to get awesome flavour while avoiding food allergens or dietary restrictions.

Jalapeno Raspberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces raspberry jam
  • 1 jalapeno fresh, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger fresh, grated
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 4 tbsp dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan and stir.

  2. Heat on medium-high heat until starting to boil then reduce to low and simmer for about 30 minutes or until you like the consistency.   You want it to be able to pour like a sauce.
